About this Event

VEDP is pleased to partner with International Trade Compliance (ITC) Strategies to offer this Export Compliance Seminar. The seminar will cover both the Department of State’s International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) administered by the Department of Commerce.

The program will provide both novice and experienced export compliance professionals with a comprehensive education on complying with the respective ITAR and EAR regimes. We will review both recent regulatory changes and potential changes with an eye towards how they may impact your compliance programs.

Who Should Attend

The seminar is designed to familiarize senior management with the two regulatory regimes and how to incorporate them into daily export operations. (Note: This is not a seminar centered on how to fill out compliance paperwork.)

Expect to leave with an understanding of the respective rules that will allow you to minimize any delays in your exports, minimize your costs of compliance, and reduce the risk of inadvertently violating the law. The end result will be to give your organization a competitive advantage and a compliance program on a solid footing.

This course is traditionally priced in excess of $1,500; however, VEDP is pleased to offer this training for $100 per attendee.

A certificate of completion is available to each participant at the end of the course, upon request.

This training is offered by Virginia Economic Development Partnership and is open to businesses that have a presence in Virginia.
